The world is changing. Unless we Change we'll get kicked off. Raising business consciousness, activating a higher level of leadership will help. So will taking small actions that make a big difference. This is about moving from insights - inspiration to action.
Been MIA lately working on two books; one of my own and one my dad wrote in his random ornithological way. Will post the sample chapters and exerpts slowly as I get them edited. Meanwhile hear Walt Aguilar, former VP Sales for NIHO Land and Cattle, describe his discoveries around salsa and leadership. It is short.

Program Description: Making Sense of Life with Evolutionary Provocateur Dawna Jones.
Explore how we can understand and apply the evolution of consciousness we are witnessing today.
Natural disasters, job loss, relationship meltdowns, financial loss or challenges combined with keeping pace with the changing values has brought many people and companies to their knees asking: What is really going on? Speculation runs rampant projected by fears and a discomfort with the ambiguity of knowing that what has always worked does not anymore. An evolutionary push in consciousness is underway which touches each and every person. Join us as we explore what is going on, why and what this means to you personally or your business.
Seven years ago Dawna Jones asked, What would it take to allow people and the companies they work to achieve what they were truly capable of? This catalyzed intense research into science and spiritual understanding she has combined with twenty five plus years as a professional facilitator to reveal many insights on how to create sustainability through a holistic mindset.
She hosts the Evolutionary Provocateur podcast at https://www.management-issues.com and is writing a book with the working title -The Eyes Within: A Unified View of Life at Work. She can be reached at email@example.com
Just took a part time job in the retail sector to help out while i get my book written. It has turned out to be a lesson in how to disengage an employee in less than three days. 1) Centralize all decisions. What didn't work in one city is bound not to work in another. Interesting but flawed assumption. 2)Deliberately don't price everything you put on the floor because it is better to keep the customer waiting while you run up to the front counter to scan it and find out what the price is... but wait, we aren't going to train you to scan yet so you must find someone who can. 3) It is fine for your superior to be rude to your co-workers in front of customers because she/he can. 4) Put flawed product out because you never know...someone might just buy it.
The USP for the company is... customer service. It has been an invaluable experience and great reminder of how simple it is to disengage employees and convert enthusiasm about contributing to showing up and doing what you can.
